Not what they claim to be..... 6/4/2011

As you enter you will immediately smell dirty mop water. They do not use high chairs. In the infant room children are fed on bean bags--the same bean bags they play on all day. Toys are only washed ONCE a week. They provide food and bottles if you want--but keep in mind, all nine babies are sharing nipples. The formula they provide is in an open pitcher in the refrigerator. Everytime I entered there was ALWAYS a baby SCREAMING. There is little to no adult interaction/play with the infants. This was the biggest week mistake in our daycare experience. more

Great care! 7/17/2008

My girl has been in the infant room for six months and we love it here! Her assigned infant teacher is thoughtful and very caring and always helps me keep track of her schedule and needed items. There is a variety of centers to play and even a tiny ballerina bar to help with standing. I love to come at lunch to read my baby books and always feel welcome. So glad I found this place. more

Wonderful center with caring staff 2/26/2008

Wonderful caring staff from infant to preschool age. I love that this is independently owned and the owner Marsha is VERY involved. As an infant my son loved his teacher who was specifically assigned to him. We still have her baby-sit sometimes on a Saturday night as I feel very safe and he is very happy. In the one year old and two year old rooms the teachers are required to submit lesson plans as well as the preschool teachers. The curriculum is project based and theme based. They work on one to two themes a week and create projects around these themes. My just turned two year old knows numbers, the alphabet, and "writes" in his journal. Parents as teachers also say his verbal is very advanced, a lot is due to this school. \r I also like the fact that the school is very diverse. I feel this is important for his future life. \r At two they have even taken him on his first field trip to the pumpkin patch on a bus! We still talk about it 5 months later! They also sponsor activities for t more

    Curriculum
In order for children to grow and prosper both socially and intellectually they need the support of a warm, friendly environment where they feel secure and appreciated. Young children construct their knowledge by building on experiences from their surroundings. Children learn best through active,hands-on,discovery type methods through topics that are valued and meaning fuel o them. We want to foster their natural inclination to grow and learn by drawing from current, innovative early childhood approaches that are based on research and recent trends in our field.
