Children's Bookshop & Teaching

Good: What a fantastic store! I have taken our 2 year my to Children's bookshop many time. He loves playing with the Thomas Table and running around the store grabbing things off the shelves to play with. The staff have been fantastic each and every time we are there with recommendations and assistance in finding just the right thing and even cleaning up after my son. My son calls it the "Play Place" and he absolutely adores the ladies that work there. Sign up for their email list and you get great deals too!. Bad: The only thing I didn't like was the fact that they couldn't carry as much in the store as their online store. But in the same token their store isn't the size of Costco. So, when you can't find it in the store go to their website and it will be there! I'm truly amazed at their selection!. Other: I get their monthly newsletter and take my son there once a month for the deals. Books 40-50% off. Barns and Nobles can't hold a candle to them on their book prices. I am really into my child's education and the things that we have found there have, I feel, helped make my son a genius! People are always telling me how smart he is and I always tell them to go to the Children's Bookshop for fun and educational things. Children's Bookshop is probably the last place around where they make learning fun!. more

Love this store!!! We take our son there and he plays with the train table, gears and other toys while we shop for fun and educational toys and books. I love this store so much it almost makes me want to home school our child so that I can shop there more often. We always find things that we can't find in the big box stores, and the pricing is comparable. They carry everything a parent or teacher could want, including scouting supplies, dress up clothes, art supplies, the latest and greatest books as well as the classics for all ages - board books as well as Spanish books for bilingual children. When my son enters school we'll be getting the many work books to work with him at home on subjects like math and science to supplement the things he learns in school. And the toys, oh the toys....Thomas, trikes, Playmobile, you name it. This place is like kid heaven, no parent heaven, because its educational as well. I'll be a life long customer. more

We LOVE this store. They have a discount club. I ALWAYS find something unique that I cannot get at the big box stores. My kids (ages 12 and 7) BEG to go everytime we come to Lynnwood. more

I was here all the time when I was doing preschool with my daughter. They have lots of great manipulatives, workbooks, and teaching supplies. They also have a train table where your kid can hang out while you look around. They have a nice selection of crafts for special projects, also. more

I discovered this place when I stopped on a whim one day and I'm very glad I did! They have a nice, well stocked store of educational toys and books. It is a teacher supply store, so the items they carry are great quality and everything is educational - from the art projects to the games. They have some exceptional games, that kids as young as 3 can understand and play. This is also a great place to pick up a big tub of those foam shapes that kids love to use in their projects. more
