I was born and raised in El Paso and now live in San Antonio. My wife, who's from S.A., could not understand what the big deal was with Chico's - now she knows. Now she's the one who insists that we go straight to Chico's as soon as we hit the El Paso city limits when we come to visit. Great tasting food that you'll find only in El Paso at a very reasonable price. Chico's is truly an El Paso Institution, it's one of those ""you know you're from El Paso if...""
Pros: great tasting food, inexpensive, always open
Cons: always crowded, next to no parking
