Chicken Coop Inc

Visitor from out of town here to see family. Waited 10 minutes to be seated, come to find out you seat yourself. The beer listed on the board was unavailable and the waitress was annoyed when asked what other drinks were available. She was rude and indicated that they were busy which made my party feel like we were imposing. When we asked for water, we were given one glass only on the fly. Another employee walked by and we asked for assistance, he initially appeared interested in knowing what our concerns were, however when we voiced them, he indicated that he was the owner and he asked us to leave his establishment immediately. At that moment, he cleared our table (drinks and salad), and rudely demanded we leave. We complied and went to another resturaunt where believe it or not, the owner of the Chicken Coop showed up. I went down to ask him if he remembered me and he smugly said ""yes, you are the bi--- that I asked to leave my resturaunt"". I asked him if he believed in customer service and he replied that he belived in people not customer service--although I have no idea what that means. He proceeded to insult me by calling me a ""bi---"" over and over to the extent that the waitress stepped in and told him to stop. I remained calm but feel I need to let others know that if you choose to go to this establishment and are not satisfied, do not offer any constructive criticism as it is not welcome here.\r \r Cons: rude owner, poor customer service more

I've been there several times and the food has been good each time. The menu has variety with some unique choices.\r The micro-brew beer is good, I understand some is brewed there and some at the Kearney location, try the IPA if you like hoppy with a kick.\r There are plenty of TV's, 3 or 4 HD's at the bar but most of the bar is taken up by the waitress station and Keno so seating is limited. Plenty of table seating though.\r I have only sat at the bar and the service has been great, the bartenders actually talk to you and give you the impression they care. Pros: Food, Beer, TV's Cons: Not enough Bar seating more

This was a wonderful experience and it was extremely nice to find a place that wasn't a chain in Grand Island. \r The atmosphere is layed back and the staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable about the menu. \r Great for lunch! Their sandwich are wonderful! Pros: Staff! Food! Atmosphere! more
