Chicagoland Heating & Air Conditioning was originally founded in February, 1961 by Robert C. Landwehr — and thus began our company's multiple decades of outstanding service. The following year, the company began offering Carrier-brand heating and air conditioning solutions, starting a legacy of product quality that would help distinguish us from many of our peers. In 1970, Robert J. "Skip" Landwehr began working side-by-side with his father in the family business. Later, after graduating from Iowa State University in 1979, Robert J. Landwehr took over the company when his father retired in 1985. Ten years later, the company moved from our original 79th Street location in Chicago to our current Oak Lawn location.
