Is it still in biz? 4/3/2008

I've tried to called this place for a month and a half but get a "this number is temporarily unavailable" recording. Is it still open? We wanted to try the pizza bowls! more

A Bad Night? 10/30/2007

Despite having only a few customers on a recent Tuesday evening, the service was glacially slow. We waited over 25 minutes for a basket of onion rings. And they were playing rap music, which isn't my thing. I won't be going back. more

Great Menu, great deep dish, awesome burgers and wings. 9/15/2007

This is my third visit to this restaurant and I must say this time around I was pleasantly suprised. You have a new GM/Chef Mario I believe is what the server told me. A totally updated menu...a great menu now. Also some unbelievable drinks specials...I mean unheard of. The last time I was there it had a limited menu. Not to happy but my friend loves there pizza bowl. It good but when I found out they had a deep dish, burgers and wings. I was like let me give it a try. I will tell you that the guacamole burger was awesome, the deep dish was amazing. I usually get heart burn from other deep dishes, like Gino's, Lou's, Giordiannos but there deep dish did not give me heart burn...man was I happy. $3 blue moons was awesome. The server also told me that they have 1/2 priced appetizers from 3-6pm which I am going back for and 1/2 price mondays. Chicago pizza company you have a fan for life now. I will travel from the city more often to visit my friend. Thanks for the great hospitality. Natalie(my server) I will be back thanks for your great suggestions and service. ER Pros: Specials and Ambience Cons: Only One Location more

Not "CHICAGO" Pizza 7/23/2007

Traveling from New York, I wanted "CHICAGO" style pizza, so where better than the Chicago Pizza Company...no such luck. Lunch menu had very weak pizza selection and only Thin Crust. I opted for the pizza buffet, which amounted to five pizzas on display, they looked and tasted like they were picked up in the grocery store's freezer section. I was very dissapointed... Pros: Nice decor Cons: Pizza was not good more

Great food and great service 4/30/2007

pizza was unique and fantastic and the service was super friendly and fast. make sure you get the salad to start!! nice decor throughout and it even has a great bar area for grabbing a drink before or after dinner. highly recommend!! great for groups or dates. Pros: food and service Cons: none! more

Better than downtown! 4/22/2006

The food here exceeds that of the owner's former employer. The service is good, and if you want a unique pizza experience this is the place! Having been a loyal fan of the "other" place since 1980, this will be my new fav. If you're wondering if it's as good as downtown...close youre eyes, take a deep whiff of your pie, and you'll think you were on North Clark. If you're going for the ambience of downtown, you'll be disappointed but the food is so worth it. Plus they're open for lunch and take credit cards. Pros: good parking, superb food, not crowded Cons: none! more

  • In Short
It's no secret how Chicagoans like their pizza: thick, cheesy and piled high with ingredients. At this Rolling Meadow eatery the concept goes even further with pizza bowls: deep wheat or white crust bowls stuffed with green peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, Italian spices and covered with cheese. Salads and sandwiches pay homage to neighborhoods with names like Gold Cost, Greek Town, Lincoln Park, The Loop and Wrigleyville. Photos of 1920s Chicago drive home the theme.
