The best haircut I've ever had 3/18/2008

I got my hair cut by David and it was incredible. This is by far the best haircut I've ever had. David helped me find the perfect haircut and I love it so much. He was friendly and professional and very talented. A cut here includes a head massage that is to die for, an excellent cut and top notch products. Best experience and best cut I've ever had. AMAZING HAIR CUT 2/29/2008

So..I am the girl who gets a hair cut once every six months and never have any idea what I want when I walk into a salon. I went into this place, sat in the chair and said, ""make me look cute.? I provided Laura with two guidelines: cut ?x? amount off and I want it to be low maintenance. more

I am new to the Boulder area and after trying a few other salons with not much luck, I turned to City Search to see what information I could find. Everything the previous reviewers wrote was correct and I have the best haircut I have had for quite some time. My color was in a terrible state and it is on its way to being corrected - it was so bad that it will take a few more appointments to get it just right but I have every confidence that Chicago Hair Can do it for me. Pros: very friendly but not intrusive; knowledgeable staff and they consult freely with each other about the best way to proceed for problem hair. Cons: None that I can think of more

Great color service 12/14/2007

I came to Colorado to relax and recover from a surgery. I decided to try out Chicago Hair. I saw a gal named Teresa and she spent a good time talking to me about highlights and a haircut and seemed to be very knowledgable. In the past I have had a really damaging service to my hair. Teresa insisted on not putting more highlights into my hair, but instead lowlights that would brighten my blonde. Wow! She really knew how to pamper my overstressed hair, and give it the balance it needed! Everyone in the salon was friendly, it was an overall great experience. I would highly recommend Teresa for your next color service. more

Great haircuts, color, and service 12/6/2007

I found Liz when I moved to CO and I chose them because they had the only website that mentioned that their stylists have ongoing training. It was a great criteria because Liz has never let me down. The whole staff is fantastic and always works with my crazy schedule. When I had to leave town for a family emregency, Liz actually came in on her off-time to ensure I was taken care of. It was excellent customer service in a very difficult time. She always makes relevant product recommendations and indulges my whimsical hair attitude. I can't recommend her and Chicago Hair enough. Can I give her 6 stars? more

Great Haircut an Color 12/1/2007

All I can say is THANK YOU LAURA!!!!! I am so incredibly pleased with my haircut. I have gone to several different hair salons, but with no luck finding an individual who would cut/color the way I want, or even close for that matter. I was so impressed with the way Laura had cut my sister's hair (the color is beautiful too) that I made the appointment two days later. It has been about two weeks now and everyday I wake up I look forward to the way I will be styling my hair that day. Laura took her time to help me find the perfect colors (I am extremely picky) and I cannot thank her ENOUGH for her fabulous sense of style, I found her to very focused. So many stylists spend theri time chit-chatting about their personal. lives. What I want is a great consultation and service, not a lot of chatter. WHAT A TALENT!!! I found my permanent hair dresser, and I am so excited and relieved! The Thickening spray is working out great. Thank you Laura keep up the amazing work!!!! Pros: Good Consultation and service Cons: be sure to park on the East side where the parking and entrance is more

Relaxing and friendly salon! 8/21/2007

I was so impressed with this salon. I just moved to North Boulder from out of state and was looking for a good salon that was close to my house. Chicago Hair was within a short walking distance and looked fesh and sophisticated withough being intimidating. My stylist, Liz, was very professional and was very thorough when we discussed my haircut. She took her time cutting and styling my hair and didn't make me feel rushed at all. The salon itself seemed busy but not chaotic and from where I sat, all the other sylists sounded as experienced and skilled as my stylist. All in all it was a great experience, and I would highly reccommed this salon. more

I've been hearing about Chicago Hair for a while from friends, family and the likes. I've been wanting to try it out for a while, and as soon as I moved down to the Boulder area I decided to give it a go. All the wonderful things I've heard about it are beyond true! It's a bit like a family business with both the husband and wife working as stylists, which puts a secure and loving enviroment into the beautifully put together salon. Very few stylists work there, but the owners seem to take mad pride in all over them. Pros: excellent customer service and funny staff Cons: not good if you dont have a sense of humor! more

Best haircut and hiliights I've ever had! 5/2/2007

As soon as I walked in the door, I knew I was in for a treat. Everyone was very friendly. I checked in with the receptionist and was settled with a hot cup of tea just as my stylist came out. The consultation was great - I felt that the she really listened to what I wanted. After the color, cut, and blowdry I decided I could never go anywhere else, I love my hair! Pros: Everything! more
