Chianti is a nice place to dine if you are looking for a little romance and relaxtion. As far as the meal goes, most of the appetizers are fairly decent. Excellent salad. Several people have told me of various dishes they have tried that were excellent, but my personal favorite is the paneed chicken. Without a doubt, it is the most tender and flavorful chicken that you will find. It seems to be such a rarity to find a chef willing to work with chicken, but Chianti's work with perfection. Some of the cakes are decent, but in my opinion that is the weakest part of their meals.
Overall, it can be a relaxing, quiet experience or entertaining with live performances. You can expect great food with average serice.
