Best Tex-Mex i have ever had! 12/14/2006

No idea how someone can criticize Chevy's, their Chips and Salsa are the BEST anywhere, anytime. Add the Chili con Queso with them and its just melts in your mouth! The Chicken Fajitas are something i get almost every time there and there’s a good reason, they are just DELICIOUS. I have them add BBQ sauce to the chicken and get only onions on the skillet, that is simple perfect! My wife gets the Tilapia on the skillet also and loves every bite, perfectly done Veggies too. more

Chevy's is awful. Alleged Mexican food that is almost as American as can be. The food lacks taste and quality. It is highly over priced. Service is ok. It is pretty much par for course of most chain restaurants. The menu lacks true variety, and the refried beans lack true taste. The chips and salsa are ok, but not as good as the non chain mexican restaurants in Champaign. I believe going to Chevy's is a waste on one's time and money. more
