Dec 28th, I was rear ended on I 25 near Johnstown. KG from Stan's Auto Service came to tow me. I live in a NW Denver suburb. KG warned me it was going to be pricey to tow my car that distance but I ""bit the bullet"" and paid the charge. The next day I had a msg from KG asking me to call him back. I was hesitant, thinking he found an error and was going to charge me even more. I was shocked to hear he had calculated wrong and needed to refund almost 1/4 of the fee. I had the check within 2 days!! Not a common experience with tow truck companies I am sure! He also allowed my 20+ yr old kitty to ride with us instead of having to stay in the car after a traumatic experience. Need a tow??? This is a company made up of people with integrity!! Wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the hard work on our motohome. We have had 4 horrible years with it not working correctly. My car broke down on Hwy 287 one night after midnight. I called Stan's Auto and they had a tow truck there within an hour. they towed my car to their shop, and had an estimate for me by 9am the next morning. While they listed a bunch of things I didn't care to fix, they also fixed my vehicle and had me back on the road by 2pm. Thanks Guys!! I took my Jeep w/ over 150,000 mi. and 15 years of age in for a brake inspection and to replace a blown fusible link. After over a week in their shop, they failed to notice a bad caliper and tried to charge me full price for their poor diagnosis. They tried to sell me things I didn't want or need. Labour rates are exorbitant, and parts prices are inflated. Always another reason to hold my Jeep for ransom. There are many other service shops in Loveland. Avoid this one. Pros: They were willing to tackle problems other mechanics wouldn't touch. Cons: Wanted to do an entire vehicle restoration, and all I wanted was to make sure the necessities worked properly. more
