The breakfast at Chester Drawers is worth the short wait you will likely have to endure in order to get a table (especially on a Sunday). Everything is fresh, delicious and nicely priced. The decor is ecclectic, interesting, and historic. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is hands down my favorite place to go for breakfast in Newport Beach CA. more

Best local breakfast hangout in the OC 6/18/2005

You wouldn't think that a small strip store restaurant would merit a glance, but let's not mistake this little gem. Low prices, a great breakfast menu, generous portions, a no-nonsense atmosphere, and friendly staff makes this small restaurant a mainstay in the OC. The Omelet Parlor is open only until 2:00 PM, and they serve breakfast and lunch. It's the breakfast menu that stands out. Get a taste of local flavor and history when you visit this place! more
