Horrible 6/3/2009

This office has the most horrible policies involving sick visits. There were 4 separate occasions where I picked my son up from school, once he had a 102 fever, called the office to get him in to be seen and was told by the receptionist that there was no way that he could be seen. This happened 4 times. There is no policy that sick patients take priority. I find it funny that there are signs all over the office with strict RULES for parents and children like ""NO EATING"", NO CELL PHONE USE, ONE STICKER PER CHILD. but no policies about sick children getting proper care. I called once when I picked him up from school and just TOLD them that I was bringing him onto the office to be seen. They told me that there was not appointments and that the wait would be hours. I got to the office, the waiting room was EMPTY and my son was seen within a half an hour. It is appalling. On the plus side, the nurses are WONDERFUL, the nurse practitioner and physician assistant are great. They just need to work on the polices for accommodating sick patients. We are in the process of moving and I plan on doing a great deal of research before committing to another pediatrician. Pros: GREAT nurses & Nurse Practicioner Cons: Policies more

Love Em! 3/30/2009

I love this doctors office they try hard and try to accommodate everyone. My son has asthma and when need be I take him right in and he is seen and watched carefully. They take there time when needed. Pros: morning walk-ins Cons: sometimes you have to wait. more

Horrible Experience 12/7/2008

I am a first time parent and couldn't be more appalled with a doctors office. The office treated me like I was an idiot because I am a first time parent. They do not return phone calls in a timely manor, and if you have an emergency question at 11:00 pm, go to the Emergency Room and pay the copay. Our son had a temp of 102.4 so we called the Answer Service to have the doctor paged, it took three pages and the doctor took 2 hours to return our phone call. He told us not to worry until his temp was 105.\r Another visit I had to beg the doctors to test my son for acid reflux, they referred me to get an x-ray, then took a week to give me a prescription! I would never refer a friend to this office. I hope others get treated better then my husband, son, and I have been treated. Pros: Nurse Sherri is wonderful. Always available appointments Cons: Staff is rude. Appointments never started on time. Doctors are in and out without time to ask questions more
