I can't say enough good things about this clinic. When All Care Cat Hospital left San Diego, I took my cats to a different vet's office closer to my home in Escondido. The care was horrible. My senior cat had a tooth infection and needed to have surgery and the vet gave me an appointment for a week out. The cat would not eat or drink anything and I knew a week was too long to wait. I contacted Cheshire Cat Clinic and let them know what was going on. Even though I had never seen them, they got me in the next day. The Vet Tech actually called other "patients" and moved them so that my cat could have emergency surgery. \r They are caring and loving and I would not take my cats to anyone else. Dr. Middleton and Dr. Metcalf LOVE LOVE LOVE their patients and it shows. more

Dr. Middleton is excellent 6/22/2010

I am puzzled by the negative reviews on this site. I have been taking my cats to Dr. Middleton for over 10 years. She has always been professional, compassionate and honest. She provides a careful assessment of each cat's condition and summarizes the various treatment options, with a candid disclosure of the costs/benefits of each. She seems to genuinely care about the cats that she treats. I now have to drive several miles to go to the new location in Clairemont, but do not feel comfortable taking my cats anywhere else. more

This is the worst vet I have ever been to. 3/16/2010

I would definitely not recommend this vet. She treated my cat very roughly, then complained my cat was too feral and refused to give her an exam but also demanded that I pay for one, used a syringe on my cat that had fallen uncapped onto the floor (I had to demand that she get a new one, but she was pissed about it), never answered my questions and snapped at any comments I made to her. She is bitter and I would absolutely never recommend that anyone take their cat there. It seems I am not the only one as well who has had a bad visit here. I hope that this sort of thing does not happen to others, and I feel that the best way to ensure it does not is to NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS KITTENS HERE! more

Quality down since new Ownership 2/11/2010

Back when it was All Care Cat Clinic, the place was better. Now, it seems that they are more interested in pushing products and services to make money. I was told by the vet that my cat was not doing well because her fur didn't look healthy. It made be feel like a bad pet owner. Funny part is a year later, not only is my cat still healthy, she's 6 months shy of turning 20!! I think I've done something right. The ONLY reason I will take her back is b/c they only treat cats, so she's not traumatized by hearing dogs barking. more
