I have honestly been never very impressed with Cheng Hing. Although the prices are pretty cheap, the food is really not good enough for even that. They do give you these wonderful crispy noodles. The orange dipping sauce is a bit too sweet, but you can get used to it. It’s an okay place to go with friends, but you really might do better to just cook up something yourself. more

good chinese in Swarthmore 5/31/2005

Cheng Hing provides surprisingly good Chinese food. they will deliver to Swarthmore College campus, and are very close to the college (right in downtown). There food is not great-- some things are excellent, some are not. I recommend garlic tofu, sesame chicken, and steamed vegetable dumplings. The food is inexpensive and easy. If you aren't willing to go to china town, Cheng hing is a great option. more
