Chef Central

Chef's Central is hard to describe because it contains so many different types of kitchenware and related accessories. The store has two locations, one in Paramus, NJ and the other in Hartsdale, NY on Central Avenue. This large spacious store located in a strip mall on busy Rte. 17 in Paramus has just about anything you can imagine to use in the kitchen. I appreciate the professional appearance of the store and its sales staff who are knowledgeable and friendly without being overbearing. I enjoy seeing and touching the large variety of tools, like knives, pots and pans. They also have wonderful sauces, marinades, soup & cocktail mixes which make great gifts. You can purchase barware, grills and accessories, cookbooks, etc. Large selection of seasonal items for each and every holiday, as well. Chef's also has an in-store chef's station which is used for classes to include sushi making, cake decorating, baking for kids, knife skills (highly recommend). There is a large monthly calendar which is posted and you can get on the mailing list to receive it. Classes are popular and they fill up quick, so if you see something you'd like to take, give them a call! They attract celebrity chefs, especially ones who've written books and these are fun to attend as well. more

This is a fantastic store!! Far different from all the regular big box stores where you can find everything. This is a store specializing in Kitchen items. Everything from a turkey baster to the best knives to the coolest new gadgets for your kitchen. They often have cooking classes and demos where you can learn all new exciting recipes and other information. They have everything you can want. They also have a great selection of spices and dips and anything else you might need to throw the perfect party. And they have a great selection of wine and everyday kitchen needs like plates and hand towels. They also have a fantastic clearance selection in the back right corner. more
