Five of us ate DINNER here for the first time. We all ordered something different and we all remarked how flavorful the food was. We ordered Sonoma salad (very good), Chicken Marsala (best ever tasted), Fillet of Roast Salmon (good flavorful salmon however on a bed of tart sautéed mustard greens), and one of the ravioli dishes, not the butternut. All-In-All we were very satisfied. Couldn't ask for better service and the dishes were moderately priced $12-$16. Pretty good selection of wine at average price. more

Whew Amazing FOOD! 8/11/2005

Checkers has some of the most mouth watering food ever! I'm drooling just thinking about it. We go here every year for my mothers birthday. I always have ther chicken Carbanara. My mom always has the butter nut squash raviolli, she loves it (It's the highlight of her year). They serve you fesh facacia (not sure how to spell that) with olive oil and vinigar. MMMM good. It's expensive, but worth it for a once a year treat. more
