These guys will take care of you (and your cars.)\r \r Brought in a Ford Explorer and a Hyundai Sonata and they did a great job of looking over the cars and only doing the work that was required. The best part was that they went over and above what I expected and usually receive as far as customer service. They walked me through all the work they did and gave me their opinion about condition, cost, necessity and helped me understand what was happening with my autos.\r \r I'll go back. Feel free to shop around and you might find some of the chain stores with lower prices but you won't receive the kind of service and dedication (and expert knowledge) that you'll receive from Larry, Dean and Dan.\r \r Thanks again. more

This is one of the best shops that i ever been to. There reliable honest and true about there service. They look at my car and reccomend fixes that I would need right now or in the future. I would trust them with my car before any dealerships or any other lube and oil shops. Also there staff is really nice and respectful to me everytime that i go in and get my car serviced. i would reccomend this shop to anybody that needs there car fixed more

A little disappointed 1/20/2012

I will never return to Checkpoint - they lost me as a customer 1/16/2012

My car was not starting all the time, I had the car looked at by two different people who tested the battery and said the battery was fine, it was just eroded on top of the battery. I went in to Checkpoint and asked to have them just clean the erosion off the battery. They called and told me that I needed another battery besides cleaning it off, that my battery was about dead. I had them just clean it off like I asked them to in the first place and it works fine now. Had the battery tested after and it is good. They tried to sell me a battery when I didn't need one. more

Great service, once again 1/6/2012

As usual, the guys at Checkpoint Auto have helped us with the boring but needed car maintenance. They let me know that I DID NOT need brakes replaced yet and helped us budget for repairs for 2012 with estimates for work needed this year. They are very efficient and can usually fit us in on the same day. David D. more

Miss diagnosed which cost me $1500 11/7/2011

First of all I do believe it's a good shop overall. They treated me well except the they replaced a lot of stuff that didn't need to be replaced which cost me $1500 of money that did not need to be spent. Pros: null Cons: null more

Headlight Replacement 11/2/2011

I noticed last night before the snowstorm that one of my headlights was out. I stopped in first thing this morning and they replaced my headlight so fast I was in and out in 5 minutes - literally. That is not the first time they've given me such prompt service. They are very friendly there. more

quick fix 10/27/2011

This time we had to take in our car because a certain someone in our family changed a tire improperly. As we were driving the tire started to make a terrible thumping noise. Luckily we were one block from Checkpoint and thank goodness they weren't too busy that day. They found the problem in less than time than it took for us to eat our breakfast at Sonic and had the repair done by early afternoon. EVERY time we take our car to them they give us superior service and outstanding advice about what to do to prevent certain problems from popping up on our specific model. We will continue to take our cars to them as long as we live here. They are the best! more
