Hop, or should I say waddle, on board one of these WWII amphibious vehicle and enjoy a guided tour of historic Chattanooga, via the Chattanooga Ducks. See the building that housed the first ever Coca Cola bottling plant, and the gathering point for the Cherokee Indians exodus out west on the historic Trail of Tears at Ross' Landing on the Tennessee River.
This hour long narrated tour travels through the downtown area as the Captain tells the story of the amphibious vehicles used during WW II, and points out historical features of the downtown area. The tour then, moves to the water, as the vehicle makes a short trip up the river to Mc Clellan Island , a wildlife sanctuary near the Chattanooga art district.
The cost is $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children, with a 2 dollar discount for seniors. If you're lucky, you may even get a chance to pilot the Duck. It is a fun and informative trip for all ages.
