Best Birthday Party Ever (Easiest Too) 11/6/2013

We had the best birthday party we've ever had for our son at Chattahoochee Nature Center to celebrate my son's 7th birthday! We've had lots of birthday parties, too! Home birthday parties are just so much work that this year we wanted EASY! And, that we got! We literally showed up with nothing in our hands but a camera! The guide was awesome and connected so well with the group of boys! It was an added bonus that it was a small group of children! Highly recommend! more

Great Birthday Party 6/4/2012

We had our son's 5 year old birthday party at CNC and it was awesome! Everything was handled by CNC, all we had to do was show up. Our guide was great and the children thoroughly enjoyed the party. I would highly recommend CNC for a child's birthday party. more

An Inexpensive Commune with Nature 4/17/2006

Located along the banks of the Chattahoochee River, the Nature Center is home to a variety of woodland and wetland critters. Hiking trails, a river boardwalk, live animal demonstrations, life in a log can all be experienced here. A canoe trip down the Chattahoochee River is a wonderfully relaxing family activity. more

The Chattahoochee Nature Center has more than 2 miles of trails, which give you an opportunity to immerse yourself in a natural world. Plants and animals decorate the trails with their clues. From beaver-chewed stumps to owl pellets, nature is found everywhere. What to Bring: Binoculars Camera Good Walking Shoes Picnic Lunch Rain Gear Sunscreen Monday-Saturday: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Sunday: noon-5 p.m. Closed New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. $3 Adults, $2 Children Ages 3-12 and Seniors, Children 2 and under are free. more
