Really cool looking theater!! Love the castle theme. They have a starry sky in the front area of the theater. There are places to eat out front with plenty of seating. There are some video games to play. I like the dragon when you come in. Movie look and sound average to great. more

The best movie theatre in town! 9/4/2005

Chateau Movie Theatre is a great place to bring the family. This treasure in Rochester gives its guests many perks for coming out to enjoy a show. The theatre offers 14 different theatres with the newest features. Along with the variety, the Chateau movie theatre gives its guests the opportunity to earn free tickets, meals, and their awesome popcorn. The ambiance of the venue is excellent for people of all ages. more

Dinner and a Movie, can't beat that! 8/25/2005

This movie theater offers only the best surround sound system and stadium seating! The food is great with SO MANY choices to choose from cold sandwiches and salads to pizzas and burgers and fries. They are always offering contests and promotions. They have Baby films on weekends, where "new" parents are welcome to bring in their babies and enjoy new releases. Saturday mornings are free kid movies! They offer Date specials, two tickets popcorn pop and treats for $25 which is what you'd probably end up spending anyway. With the stadium seating there is never a bad view of the screen! Handicap accessible too! You can also reserve it for big groups and functions more

Another movie theater, but with a few nice little extras 8/13/2005

I like the trays they have that fit in their cup holders. These are a great thing when you are sharing something with the person sitting next to you. I also like the large variety of their snacks. Heck....they also have meals so you could order dinner and eat it while you watch your movie. I've only had the popcorn, but they offer things pizza, burgers, and sandwiches along wtih the usual movie fare of popcorn, candy, nachos, pretzels. I also like that they have punch cards for movie tickets and for concessions, so if you keep going, you occasionally get stuff free. All other things equal, I'll choose this one over Cinemagic just because of the punch cards. more

Several Movies, Friendly Staff, Lots of Food 8/3/2005

I really enjoy going to the Chateau Theatres. Their employees are very knowledgeable about the movies that are playing and they are quite kind. They get several big box office new releases, but also play some that aren't as popular. They have a game room for the kids and they play a free movie on Saturdays for children. The doors open early so you can go and play before the movie starts. They have a huge snack bar with a lot of suggestions. They even have full meals so that you can eat dinner before or after watching your movie. more
