Char's Family Daycare

My daughter has attended Char's for almost 2 years now. I was able to watch her up to age 2 but was called back into the office so we had to find a daycare. When we first met the staff they were wonderful and I felt that I had known them my entire life. It made it a very easy choice. Since then my daughter has learned so much and looks forward to each day. They have recently added new playground equipment outside which is nice. The staff is constantly cleaning to ensure everything is spotless and germ free. We have had absolutly no problems with anyone there. My daughter is now enrolled in the Pre-K class and attends after school. I would recommend this daycare to anyone. Pros: Great staff, always available to answer questions Cons: Could use more grass on the playground more

I do not like Char's Family Daycare.Charlene allows children who continously hurt other children on a daily basis to attend her daycare and I am not talking just being kids I am talking I had seen kids suffering for the last time when I decided to quit.!Charlene also allows like 3 year olds with the 1 year olds which should never be allowed and the daycare to me is to small for the amount of children she allows,the playgrounds are sloppy and the toys are out-dated and filthy.Nothing at her daycare looks new it all looks worn out and gross.There was also a spot on the playgrounds where the children could climb under the house and possibly get very hurt and there was a horrible pest problem and another concern of mind was all the stairs in her watch you call a daycare.No 1 and two year olds should have to walk down stairs to get to the playground sometimes there were stampedes and children would get injured.Well I could go on and on but basically I wouldn't send my worst enemies child there and also something else that was gross was the mats your children were sleeping on a nap time were stored in the bathroom where children were being potty trained at and that is filthy especially when you think about how many times your childs mat was dropped off the shelf onto the toilets or the urine floor and then your child was placed to sleep on it . Hi! My child has been at Char's for two years now. She is currently in the three year old room, and I am extremely happy. All of the staff at Char's are friendly and cheerful. The classrooms are clean and inviting. My daughter loves her teacher and looks forward to attending each day. I will continue to use this daycare through Pre-K. Wonderful Program!! The employees there are full of energy. The staff in the baby room are very grandmotherly and patient. I'd definitely use them again. Pros: facility was very clean. i believe they bleached the beds every evening. and also they dont switch the kids in btwn beds. each time child goes down for a nap, it uses the same bed. more
