I have been searching for a new waxer to do my eyebrows. When I read all the reviews on here, I decided to try Vallerie and she did an AWESOME job. When I told her what I wanted, she knew what I was saying, and she did exactly what I wanted. I will be going to her for now on! more

I was looking around for a place to get my first brazillian. I found a review on city search that made me decide to try Charmed. I am a pretty modest person. Suzi personality made it easy and comfortable. I have been going there since November. I am a very sensitive person and pick up on other's energy so not just anyone can give me a massage. I tend to get sick with the wrong person. I have had massages now from Suzi and Heather and feel so wonderful when I leave. I love the shop so much that I have even had eyelash extentions. I highly recommend Charmed Salon. It is a quaint little shop of which is a big draw to me. Most importantly I find Suzi completely knowledgeable in her profession. She and the others that work there are very friendly which helps to maintain a comfortableness when you are in a position of exposing yourself. Being the modest person I am I greatly appreciate the atmosphere and don't even think about the fact that I am laying exposed on a table. I have even taken my niece for her first time waxing. She felt just as comfortable as I was. It has and is always a pleasurable experience when I go into Charmed. I am very confident in my recommendation. I can't imagine someone ever having a bad experience there. I am very critical of the services I receive and Charmed has passed my test 100%. more

I have been using ""Charmed"" Salon in Roseville for massage therapy for several years. Suzi is a great massage therapist, and now that she's taking a break for her second baby, Jennifer is helping out - and she, too, is fantastic!! I often don't like going to a salon for massages . . . . to much ""other stuff"" goin' on - but Charmed is casual and friendly, easygoing and when the door shuts for your massage, you're in ""another world"". I have been going here for years to see Val for her waxing which is always great as Val is always a Professional. I recently starting getting my massages here as well as other massage places were just cookie cutter, I don't like to feel rushed. I scheduled my massage with a massage therapist that is fairly new to Charmed, Jennifer. She was fabulous. She worked out all my knots, so I knew that I finally found the person for me, and she was professional also. Jennifer re-assured me that I would not be rushed and I wasn't. I see Jennifer every 2-weeks as my job is stressful enough. The people at Charmed have always been very nice. Thank you Suzi for being in Downtown Roseville. I am a client for life. more

My family and I have been clients of Heather T's for over 10 years now. We followed her from several Granite Bay spas and were with her when she opened Foothill Massage then the beloved but closed 2nd Street Spa in Roseville. She sadly moved away a couple years ago so I was forced to find a replacement. I went to several massage therapists over those few years and although some decent massages none that compared to Heather! She is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and just the best at what she does! I HIGHLY recommend Heather to anyone looking for an outstanding massage. My personal favorite is her Anti-Stress massage. I love all the hot towels and the aromatherapy! Glad your back Heather! more

I am 39 years old and I have never had more than an eyebrow wax. I decided to try a Brazilian and went to Suzi, the owner of Charmed. What a relief! While I?m certainly no shrinking violet, I?ll admit I was nervous. Suzi made me comfortable and less embarrassed about the whole thing. The pain was minimal and very short-lived. I have recently moved home to Roseville after more than a decade and found Suzi and Charmed because of this site. I hope my comments will help others find the hidden gem I have found. PS?. Suzi waxes and tints my brows also and my daughter has her first hair appointment with Amber next week. Charmed will definitely be my ?go to? place for beauty needs. Charmed also caries a wonderful line of facial products by Rhonda Allison. Though I had never heard of the line, Suzi recommended it. Found this place on citysearch ( I am new to the area) and decided to check this place out. I booked an appointment with Valerie for a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax and it was great! I will never go any where else! Haven't tried the hair girls, yet, but I will, the hair color and cuts that I saw looked fab! I called in at the last minute to get massages for me and my girlfriend. I found this place online and they had good reviews and the prices were incredible. They were very helpful on the phone and were able to get us both in one after another(the other massage person was booked so we couldn't do them at the same time). Kelly was our massage therapist for both my girlfriend and I. She did a great job, very relaxing, just what we needed and at $45 an hour we can try to come back more often. While we were waiting the other employees etc...were very friendly toward us, offering us a drink etc..Friendly place, best prices, see Kelly for massage! more

I can't believe I left smiling after my first brazillian wax. Suzi makes you feel comfortable, addresses your concerns then doesn't make a big fuss and gets the job done. I went in for a full wax and underams and was out within 35 minutes - elated that I had ""survived"". Not only did I survive but I am a believer now and will go to Suzi as long as I am in the area. I'm actually calling now to schedule a facial with her too - she makes the difference. Go see her if you are at all thinking of taking the plung, she's quick, efficient and friendly too! So after reading some reviewes, I went to Charmed to get my first Brazilian wax. It was amazing! It was not as bad as I expected and it was over before I knew it! It was well worth the drive, considering I drove all the way from Woodland to have it done! I have been recommending Suzi to all my friends and I will definitely be returning there in the future!!! more

Okay ladies, I experienced my first Brazilian wax and I actually came out smiling. I'm not going to tell you I felt no pain- Yes, there was some pain, but it was quick and fleeting (but, oh, so worth it!). \r After researching via reviews on citysearch, conversations with a close friend or two and, admittedly, reviewing a few Utube videoclips, I made my decision to call Charmed Salon and Spa. I left a message and immediately recieved a call back from Suzi. She asked me a few questions and clarified the options I had with regards to the waxing. On the day of my appointment, I was so nervous, I actually missed my turn, leaving a crazy, nervous voicemail that I might be late. When I arrived (maybe a minute or two late), Suzi welcomed me and led me to a private room in the back of the salon (actually, a very ""charming."" place) . She was professional and easy going, briefly and nicely acknowledging my feelings of nervousness and embarrassment which put me at ease and then,she started the process. Suprisingly, I loosened up a bit and grew more comfortable with the whole thing. It wasn't that bad, and it was done and over before I knew it. As I shared earlier, I left the shop smiling, anticipating my next visit (that I scheduled directly after my waxing!). When I came home, I gave the results a quick ""once-over"" and was pleasantly suprised with the results. I love the look and it's just so much neater. One last thing, I heard there would be some irritation and discomfort afterward. I felt neither irrritation nor pain (maybe a bit of itchiness but it lasted less than a day). Suzi was great. I have no one to compare her to but, I can honestly say, I have no interest in doing so- I found the right person on the first try!! Pros: easy to find, suzi is great Cons: can't think of any more
