Charm Beauty Salon

I live in Hackensack and now that I found Charm, I will never go anywhere else! I got my hair done my first time and loved it! My second time, I got a manicure and pedicure from Elaine. She is so nice! I also got the threading done by Afia and she did an awesome job! It is definitely affordable, everyone is very nice and they do a great job on everything! I am going to make an appointment to get my hair died and cut...cant wait! Melissa more

Ann is great at threading. Juliana too busy. Armela does the best hair there. Prices are very reasonable. Make an appointment or walk in for threading. Call for hair, they take you same or next day. more

I agree someone was in a bad mood or Charm is competition. I have never had a bad experience at Charm (They're in business for FORTY ONE YEARS!) . My daughters and I use Armela for all hair services and Julianna for threading. BOTH are awesome at what they do and give us special treatment as they do ALL of their clients! Their prices are as low as you'll get in Bergen County as well Armela and Julianna go out of their way to get you in same day if needed . There is a LINE for the threading all of the time but worth it!. Not only affordable but done in an artistic manner. You tell them what you want and they DO it! Period! I suspect it's another hair salon that's got competition from Charm posting. Just my opinion as Charm's prices are lower than anyone's yet the work is superior and they're in business for over 40 years. Off to call for an appointment TODAY and I will be taken care of today. Thank you ladies at Charm, especially Armela. You are THE best and worth the 35 minute ride there for myself and three daughters always. PS I just got my appointment to come in now ;) Friday before Easter? When we went to Luxe/European Day Spa in Ramsey my daughters had to wait 2 weeks minimum for appointments and I was told to have waxing done as they don't do threading anymore? I don't like waxing! I also was turned down for a conditioning treatment as they didnt have the time three different times!. After a few years as a VERY well tipping customer I was shocked and left. My now adult daughters followed and we are all thrilled with the services we recv @ Charm. We don't need a luxury Salon at triple the prices for inferior service when we get top of the line service at Charm. more

I was so surprised reading her reviews about eyebrows threading in Charm Beauty salon. I have been to this salon for years to get eyebrows threading, waxing, and all hair services. I don't have any problem and I am very happy with the service I get from there. I guess u don't know the meaning of threading or u're just pretending that u didn't like it or u were in bad mood on that day or u'rent with the right person. I suggest you to go back and try one more time. I hope u're gonna like it. silvy more

They don't really shape well at all and they follow up their threading with tweezing which in all my years of being a threading client, the master threaders have steered clear of. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find another threading place in Northern Bergen County at all. In ten years of being a threading client, it has never been so hard to find a combination of masterful technique, cleanliness and good customer service. All of the clients seemed to leave Charmed with very artificial and badly shaped brows but I'm sick of driving into Hudson County just to look for parking for an hour before I can even enter the salon. more

I went to many different places to get my eyebrows done but I wasn't happy the way they did for me. So I was looking for a nice place for eyebrows ( threading) for long time. One day a friend of mine suggested me to go to Charm Beauty Salon in Hackensack ,NJ and try with Ann. Actually I didn't know who Ann was? I spoke to front desk and she escorted me to the threading station and introduced to me with her. She was very nice, happy looking and smiling face. At that time a lot of people were waiting to get their eyebrows( threading) done. So I waited for a while and finally I got my eyebrows done. she did excellent job for me. I never had such a nice eyebrows shaping before.It was wonderful job, I loved it. After that I asked my boyfriend Eric to get his eyebrows done and he was also very happy. SO!!!!!!!!!!! WHY DON'T YOU TRY ONCE? you'll see the difference. You know what, I forgot something, ..........price is reasonable that is just $7.00 But the thing is, it's very difficult to get parking space around there, so don't forget to have some extra time. I looked long and far from Northern Bergen Country to find a place that did it right after Yalda left the old salon in Ramsey. I found it here at $7! Owner is in business 40 years, it's not fancy but they do things right! Very pleased with all services! more
