Charlotte's Web Furn & Home

I guess it was around three years ago that I ventured into Charlotte's Webb.\r The store was badly lit and the room in the back of the store reminded me of a depressing warehouse, with no rhyme or reason for the furniture placement.\r I thought I'd never go there again, but just a while ago, I was passing by the store and I went in, just to look.\r I couldn't believe my eyes, when I walked in the door and saw the most beautiful furniture and accessories! \r It has been painted and it is very clean.\r More importantly, the furniture has been upgraded and is beautifully arranged into wonderful "room settings"!\r The atmosphere was totally different from the first time, also.\r The staff is very friendly and makes you feel at home.\r It's a fun place to shop and I recommend it to EVERYONE!!! more

I have lived in Louisville, Ky. all my life, but only recently discovered what I consider to be one of the finest furniture, accessories and antiques,collectibles and unique items shops in our area. Charlottes Web is a lovely shopping experience. The inventory changes almost daily, so it is never the same place from one visit to the next. After passing by Charlotte's Web many times, I finally stopped to see what the shop had to offer. What a great discovery! I had so much fun browsing though the store. I can't believe that I waited so long to make my first visit. Now, anytime I head toward St.Matthews, my car turns in to Charlotte's Web to check out the ever changing furniture and accessories. \r Rose F. more

I went to Charlotte's Web looking for a head vase for a friend that is a collector. I was greeted upon entering the store and then followed around like I was a thief. I felt uncomfortable and when shown the head vases they had, unimpressed with their prices. I noticed the prices were higher than other vases I had looked at in area stores. I asked to take 10% off on a particularly nice vase and the sales woman acted like I had insulted her. I am no antique afficinado, but I know what I had paid for other pieces and thought that antique dealers were suppose to bargain with customers to make sales. Regardless, I did not purchase the gift for my friend and will probably not shop here again. PROS: Large well lit store CONS: High prices and suspicious staff more
