Feel Scammed !!!!!\r \r At the end of November we selected this company because of the recent reviews. They quoted and seemed pleasant initially, but as we questioned the quote and informed we were thinking of using someone else we saw a very dark side. Very Aggressive and Threatening.\r \r I was suspicious of all the good reviews within a few days of each other but thought perhaps they had learnt their lesson. They definitely ""talk the talk"" on the website but they certainly did not ""walk the walk"".\r \r I had the police on speed dial because the owner Matt made me feel soooo uncomfortable. I was worried he might turn up on my doorstep and try to kick a door in while I was alone without my husband home.\r \r \r In Addition.............Cheating to hide bad reviews........\r \r I complained. When checking back to make sure my complaint logged I noticed they are placing multiple entries under different addresses........obviously to dodge the bad publicity they have on what was obviously the first listing!!!!\r \r Perhaps all the friends should not have written reports at the same time...........very suspicious in itself!!!!\r \r \r more

Charlotte Construction These guys just finished a back yard patio for my wife and I. After getting and or trying to get many quotes we settled on CC. I was amazed at how hard it was to just to get quotes, I would thought that in this economy it would be easy not so. WOW how the quotes did vary. After we threw out the top and bottom quotes we decided on CC. I was a little concerned because I had to go out of town for a week and my wife was going to be out of town for 2 days of the project also. I thought that CC may take some time off or hide some bad work while we were not around. My wife called me on Thursday and told me that not only did they not take time off they are done and Matt (He is the owner) took the time to walk her threw every thing and answer all of her questions. We now have the nicest patio in the neighborhood. Just wish I would have done it at the beginning of summer not the end. more

Very Pleased ! \r \r Deal with a professional and you will get what you paid for. \r \r We recently had Charlotte Construction Inc complete several large projects at our home. All projects were started and completed on time. Most importantly there were NO hidden costs, NO misrepresentations and NO end or project surprises. \r \r All project scopes were clear and precise. Matt’s crews worked diligently to complete our first project right up to one day before our 4th of July party. I had my doubts especially when daily downpours set them back. Regardless of the issues and weather related setbacks, Matt and his crew worked diligently to deliver the project as promised. Everything was absolutely perfect for our party! Our other projects were completed in the same professional manner. \r \r This level of dedication to service is a quality that I have not experienced here in NC in over 10 years of projects through (2) new homes. These guys are great! After a year of quotes, proposals, ideas from various contractors and landscaping companies; Matt and CCI did an OUTSTANDING job with our retaining wall, patio walk around, sitting walls, landscaping, and landscape low-level lighting. The crew was extremely nice and the head crew guy was very talkative and always asked for approval and gave advice when we had to make slight changes to designs. Matt was always on-site during the day, swinging thru many times to make sure my wife and I were happy with the job. Matt still calls to check up and make sure everything is up to par for us and that everything is still great with the job. Not only did CCI help us increase the value of our house; but Matt has also become a good friend since then. If you are thinking about, looking to design, or ready to break ground on a patio, landscaping ideas, or whatever it might be CCI is the place to be. Matt and his crew never cease to amaze! We will surely be using these guys in the near future for additional jobs! more

We recently had Charlotte Construction and Landscaping do a stone patio and redue our driveway. Matt and his guys were nothing but first class. Work was completed in a timely manner and very detailed. I would recommend them to anyone. -Dave more

This was the worst experience ever! The owner, Matt, just bullied his way to get the job. He started work without my permission and showed up whenever he felt like it. I got a quote from another contractor that was 1/2 the quote he gave me! He left harrassing emails and phone calls with me. I would never recommend Charlotte Construction to anyone! They will try to take your money and run! Cons: Con artists more
