Very Good 1/18/2009

This was my favorite Chinese food place as a student. I had a great meal there every time. The had great special selection of dishes. The egg rolls where great and they even had spicy cabbage similar to Korean Kim_Chi. Great vegetarian dishes. more

Horrible response to customer complaint 12/3/2006

When I went to Charlie Kangs' with my family, I expected a nice meal. It's a place we like to visit once in a while because they have some nice food. But when the food came we noticed that the portions were smaller than before for the same price. I found a piece of wood in my noodle soup and told the waiter. All he said was, 'I'm sorry, I'll tell the chef'. Any other restaurant would have treated the situation better. He acted like it was normal to find unidentified objects in the food. If it wasn't for this incident, dinner would've been much better. Pros: Free Parking behind on sundays Cons: service more

Kangs offers good food - but the prices are a bit steep for the portion size. Wouldn't really go back mainly because of the prices - but the food was good. PROS: good food CONS: price more

Charlie Kangs lacks taste 9/6/2005

I personally love chinese food and korean food, but after going to charlie kangs, i cannot recommend it. Food lacks flavor and though they arent too expensive, you would have to pay me to eat it PROS: Cheap CONS: Taste more

Delicious 9/4/2005

Their food are valued! It's not overpriced at all based on the amount they serve. I could not quite remember everything on their menu though, most of them are worth trying. Especially the stone rice.. sth. That's delicious! Their waitress is very pretty girl. xixi. They also have this beautiful aquarium tank that you can enjoy during the meal. more
