Best hot dogs in the world 1/17/2011

Father RMFH must be a yankee. I ate my first hot dog at Charlie Joseph's when I was about 11 years old, and I think they still have the best hot dogs in the world. I don't remember ever eating a hamburger there, so I don't know what they're like, but when I ate a kraut dog there in February of 2010 I thought I'd gone straight to heavaen without even dying. By the way, my sister still goes there every Friday, and I think her kids, grand kids, and great grand kids eat there. more

Not the 'world's best' as advertised... 9/14/2007

The food is passable, but certainly not the world's best, unless you've never left LaGrange. The hot dogs are ok, but the hamburgers and cheeseburgers are disgusting. They steam them. They come out looking grey and dead, and are tasteless and mushy. The kraut is ice cold. The saving graces are 1. It's a nice family place that's good for kids (who haven't developed taste yet), and 2. The home made hot red relish for dogs is outstanding. more

This restaurant really takes me back into my childhood. Charlie Josephs in LaGrange is like Varsity is to Atlanta. They have the best hot dogs and hamburgers in the world, (sorry Varsity). more
