Charles Porter has the best selection of jeans in the area. Sebastian always helps me find the best in style jeans for my body. I will never buy jeans from Bloomies, Nordstrom or Neimans ever again. more

not sure about the fuss 6/23/2006

It was an okay experience, considering the price of the jeans, there could of been a bit more customer service, I thought the overall knowledge of salesperson of brand fit and trends was minimal, although friendly enough, she did not go out of her way to help, I wound up with a pair of Citizens that I could of bought at Nordstroms, big whoop! No bargains, they charge 18.00 for hemming. Cons: parking, assessibility, lousy return policy more

WHICH ARE NOW MY FAVORITE BY THE WAY AND THEY HAVE JEAN SPECIALISTS THERE TO CUSTOMIZE JEANS TO YOUR BODY THEY ARE SO GREAT THEY ARE LIKE ""DENIM DOCTORS"" THEY KNOW EXACTLY WHAT FITS YOUR BODY BEST. I LOVE THIS PLACE I WON'T EVER GO BACK TO NEIMAN MARCUS OR BLOOMINGDALES EVER AGAIN. Can't buy good clothes in Center City. 2/15/2006

Why can't someone open a store that sells something other than the department store brands? If I want to buy BCBG, Laundry etc, I'll go the the mall where the prices are lower and collections more up-to-date. The whole point of shopping in a small boutique is to find something unique, yet no store owner in Philly has figured that out yet. If you want to pay full price for something that was on the mall's clearance racks last month, then this is a great place to shop. Cons: Overpriced, No Unique Items, Small selection more

Comfortable and easy 1/7/2006

I was tempted into this store by the window display. One of the friendly staff (or owners?) approached and told me that he could put me in a pair of jeans that fit me perfectly (not easy with my ever growing mid-section). He looked me over, looked his stock over, and passed me a pair of wonderful jeans which moments later I confirmed fit me perfectly! Easiest jean shopping I have ever done. I've gone back many times since and have never left empty-handed and highly recommend this store. more
