I've only been there once. The food was 'ok' but that was my fault because I only ordered chicken strips. The service and staff are extremely nice and the inside of this place is impressive. more

Sports freak! 5/28/2002

For the record, USA Today recently named Chappell's as one of the Top 10 sports bars in America. Jim Chappell personally walks through the bar and restaraunt, greeting customers, every chance he gets. He's about as friendly as they get here in Kansas City. And he has to have one the largest collections of sports memorabilia in the world. There's to much stuff to display! From over a thousand football helmets hanging from the ceiling, to a Heisman, and to my personal favorite- a Wolrd Series Trophy ('83 I think). Good eats, good drinks, and you couldn't ask for a better atmosphere! more
