My worst personal tragedy, the death of my best friend, was the occasion for my calling Chapel Hill Florist. I called the day before the funeral to say that I needed an arrangement sent to my friend?s mom and an easel arrangement sent to the church. The man with whom I spoke, Ken, was very helpful as well as calming. He advised me as to which arrangements shown online he could best make given the supply of flowers he had at the time, which was late Thursday. Both arrangements were very beautiful. At the church, no one could tell me where the easel arrangement that I had ordered was. I thought it hadn?t been delivered and freaked and then left a really ugly message. As it turns out, it had been put outside, next to the space in the columbarium where my friend?s ashes currently rest, the perfect spot.
