Used to be great 12/24/2011

This used to be the best Thai food in on the east side, while the food is ok, it's not what it used to and I was disappointed the last few times. The new location has improved the atmosphere, prices are up, quality and portions down. Having said that I would still go back as there are on par with other east side Thai places. more

Big menu, great service! 5/9/2009

The service here was fantastic. I had trouble finding the parking lot and the hostess actually came out to help me! The menu here is pretty comprehensive -- it's hard to pick just a dish or two. Definitely a restaurant worth going to a couple of times. more

Excellent Thai Food with Great Atmosphere! 3/5/2009

The food is hands down the best Thai I've had. My favorite is the Crispy Garlic Chicken. Their new bar Naga is very nice too. They are striving to be the premier destination bar on the Eastside and from what I've experienced and seen, they'll achieving their goal. more

Absoutely love this Thai restaurant. Very authentic and good food. Only thing I'd say is that this place doesn't take Passport/Microsoft Prime card. If they did, I would go here everytime I want thai. more

Favorite Thai Food Option 6/15/2006

Chantanee Family Thai Restaurant is outstanding. Always great food, always good service and always busy. Take out or dine in, the food is great. Get there early for lunch to beat the crowd. Favorite dishes are Princess Favorite Chicken, Heavenly Beef, and of course, the Phad Thai is great. more

One of my favorite Thai restaurants in Bellevue. The food is excellent. It can be very crowded at lunch and with the low ceilings, quite noisy. more

Yummy Tomato-Based Phad Thai 2/22/2006

I was turned on to this restaurant by a former co-worker who had been going here for years. I thought I knew phad thai, but the phad thai here knocks your socks off! It is tomato-based, which is very different from the tamarind-based phad thai of most Thai restaurants. They really know how to balance the flavors of sweet, sour, salty, & spicy to make it sublime. My mouth is watering just writing about this & even though I don't work or live even remotely close to this place any more, I may need to make a pilgrimage!! more

Light and perfect 12/25/2005

We've had both lunches and dinners in this wonderful place. It is a strange location under a bowlling alley, but it is always crowded there. The currys are particularly good as is the soup. We've always had great luck with the specials there. The main problem is that it is really crowded particularly at lunch so get there early.1 more

I’ve been to Chantanee Family Thai restaurant three times in the last year and thought it was decent. I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and had high expectations each time, but surprisingly did not find this place to be superior to other Thai restaurants on the eastside or Seattle. more

best thai on the Eastside 9/9/2005

When it comes to price for what you get, this place can't be beat. The service is quick and effecient and everyone seems to be accomodating. I have rolled in with 8 people and had no problems with seating. The food is fantastic, you can even have some orders off the menu which is unique. The snapper is great and the classic Thai dishes are done exceptionally well. In addition, they tend to have a very good veggie menu, which can come in handy with a large group. more

Reasonable casual thai 7/30/2004

OK nothing fancy here, your basic thai menu, but always has been good quality and fast service. it was jammed tonight on a friday night at 6. the tamarind chicken (s3) is particularly tasty. more
