Not a place to go for lunch, their lunch specials should provide more variety or even a lunch buffet. For what you are getting they should be charging under five dollars. more

I've and many many friends have been eating at chans for years. Overall I find the food very good. As with any resturant they sometimes have off days. But take it from me thats few and far between at Chan's. I would recommend this resturant to anyone. I also always take any out of town visitor I may have there. They always rave about how good the food and service is. Not many resturants today has the owner walking around greeting people and making sure all is well. Big thumbs up !!! I went to this restaurant thinking that it would be the best Chinese restaurant in town, but as it turn out that it's just one of those rip-off. We have to wait in the front counter for 15 minutes before someone to greet us and when we get to sit down, we found that the table and the booths were not wripe completely clean. Worst is that our server was talking loudly across the dining room to other staff member while taking order for us...how annoying. When the food comes, I didn't even know what it was order, but it turn out that our Sweet and Sour Pork was all soft and and sauce has been dried up from sitting somewhere for a long time. Anyway, the food was aweful, the service was aweful, the cleanliness is aweful, and the only good thing about this place is that it have an attractive front building which is easy for to get suckers into the restaurant. Worst of all is that I heard and read an old news paper clipping from a local newspaper: The Bulletin, that they use to re-use their steam rice...is that true? Oh my goodness, what is happening to the sanitation issue in this restaurant. Not recommended and eat at your own risk.
