Taking a ride on the Channel Cat is an inexpensive thing to do if you are in the mood to just relax and let the wind run through your hair. You move just fast enough to get a rush when you take off from one of the several stops, which includes the East Village of Davenport. We got off there and stopped in a little coffee shop for a cappacino. The shops in the Village are filled with such interesting things - it's easy to spend a couple of hours browsing. Largomacino's is a great place to step back in time while sipping on an ice cream soda from an old-fashioned soda fountain. If your hungry, you can always get off at The Mark and eat at TGI Friday's. The outdoor eating area provides a nice setting to enjoy a cocktail before your food arrives. I would recommend riding when the leaves start to turn in the fall. The view is gorgeous! Great thing to do with a date.
Pros: you get alot for your dollar
