Beware of things missing before you leave the dealership 7/12/2008

(floor mats, cigarette lighter, hub cap keys, extra key) I bought a new/used car with only 8000 miles. It looked new not a scratch. The floor was covered in plastic wrap on test drive. They said they needed to do a make it ready. It was dark when I got to drive it home. When I called the next day to get the mats they said car didn't have mats. The used car sales man got me some crappy old stained mats that almost matched in color as a favor. Didn't know what a hub cap key was till I months later I got a flat and couldn't get a new tire put on. Beware it maybe a special order part or they can break it off so you don't need the keys anymore at a charge to you. I don't smoke but I want to cover that empty hole anyhow. Replacement value thru dealership costs hundreds. My car is not the deal I thought I had for a new car. more

Stay Away! 4/26/2007

I went here to buy a used car with cash. The salesperson, Jose, was great. After that everything went south. I was told to wait for the finance department to finalize my transaction. ""It will be very soon"" they said. Understand this is already after they had my money. I waited, and waited, and I can understand people being busy, but there is nothing busy about the way the finance department staff exhibited there lazy attitude by shuffling back and forth without helping anybody. Busy is working dilligently to help customers, not talking work politics and trying your best to not help anybody. I've seen the water cooler shuffle and these people are pros. If you need an exhibit in used car saleman standards this is your place. If you want prompt, polite service like a normal human being would expect your better off building your own car than going to Champion Toyota of Austin. By the way, when I wanted my money back all the sudden I could be helped immediately, I got my money and left. The problem solving over the next couple days went no better, and ultimately it became apparent that the people I worked with do not care about their customers happiness. \r J of Austin more
