Above and beyond 7/30/2014

I called these guys out and I was skeptical at first, I don't trust many people. Alex tiner came to my home and inspected my system and kept me up to date the whole time. It was top notch. Gave a few options, pros and cons of each and I was cooling in no time. Don't be fooled by the other guys like I was. Call the real deal. more

Perfection beginning to end. 7/29/2014

I am currently redoing a rental property and needed a whole new AC and duct system installed. During this process I have gone through various companies and most have been mediocre or just plain awful. So, I took my time and went through companies when getting quotes. Gilbert was very professional when he came for the quote. He was all business and took time really looking at the current system and problem areas. He wasn't your typical "hype" advisor that you usually see. I told him what I wanted, what I needed, and he didn't try to over sale. He took pictures of damaged areas that could use improvement and showed us while explaining how it would be beneficial. The pricing was almost right at what I wanted to spend and Champion was doing more than other companies that were quoting more. I decided to go with them and contacted Gilbert. I live out of town and called short noticed hoping that I could get the dates I wanted. Gilbert made it happen quick. The day that the work started, I was contacted by the leading technician...Javier. He confirmed all the times and asked if they could start onthe outside before schedule. Both Javier and Brad hard working. They presented themselves very respectful and were professional in manner and appearance. They job was completed at the time stated. What I was really impressed with was after all the work was completed, a supervisor came out and inspected their work. There were minor changes that needed to be adjusted but nothing major. I appreciated a company that is so concerned about the quality of their work that they send out a supervisor. Most companies are happy with collecting your money and could care less if their technicans are performing well. I highly recommend them. I will also use them again in the future. more

Great Service! Great Product! Amazing Team!! 7/23/2014

We knew we needed a new a/c, but we waited too long! We called Champion and Chris showed up within an hour! He spent over 2 hours in no a/c explaining all my options and walking thru everything. He was so great in making the process as painless as possible. When you are spending thousands of dollars, you want to make the right decision. So glad he was able help us make the correct one. Alex andAlex Jr showed up the NEXT morning for install! I was so impressed how quickly they were able to set up the install! And Alex and Alex spent all day in temperatures over a 100 to get the system installed correctly, always answering any question I had. They left my house clean and put together with everything installed correctly. I can't say enough! The customer service was amazing and the customer service and technical skill was great! Thank you Thank you Thank you!! more

After Hours service 7/11/2014

Had an issue with my ac unit after hours. Called the guys at Champion ac. Was told that a tech Shawn could come out and take a look at my unit. He showed up very quickly and was extremely polite and professional. Within a matter of minutes Shawn had the problem diagnosed and fixed. more

My wife and I returned to live in San Antonio after living in northern Virginia for 30 years. Four air conditioner/heating units needed attention, and to my great satisfaction, Champion AC sent HVAC technician Shawn Goerndt to my home. Shawn was on time, clean-cut, relentlessly professional and knowledgeable and even more personable. He diagnosed each of the issues I had identified with care, explaining each step and why it was necessary in an intelligible lay-language manner. He also was honest about what (very little!) he didn't know--a trait too infrequently encountered, even with those far less capable than he. His handling a nettlesome noise problem with one of the units was especially notable. At all times, he focused on what I needed, not what he could sell me, and explained options in detail. I asked about the company itself, and he said the owner, Ben Hubbert, treated the employees like true team members, not hired hands, which makes all the difference. In summary, I could not be happier with my service from Champion, and especially for the terrific, non-pariel service from technician Shawn Goerndt. more

Installation new ac 6/7/2014

Great customer service from start to finish! The technicians were polite and extremely meticulous. The AC is awesome and the followup calls and taking care of the energy rebate was a particularly nice touch. Rarely do i encounter this type of attention to detail. Thank you! more

Great Service 5/22/2014

A few months ago I had my ac replaced by Champion AC. After one other estimate, I was very pleased with the better price that I was given by Champion. Every person from Champion who was involved in the process of replacing my ac was very professional and extremely helpful. Gerald, who gave me the initial estimate and sold me the new unit, was in frequent communication with me throughout the process making sure that everything was done in a timely and proper manner. Jason and Chris, who installed the unit, did an excellent job on the installation and answered any questions I had about the functioning and maintenance of the unit. I chose Champion ac after reading the reviews from various sources and at this point am very pleased with my selection. more

I’m extremely satisfied with the service that Champion AC Company provided. The technician Gilbert Hero assessed my unit and provided a knowledgeable recommendation with a cost of replacement for my current unit, in a timely matter. I was looking to replace the entire unit at my house, out of four different companies that came to my house to provide an estimate. Champion AC Company gave me the best price. Not only was I impressed with the customer service provided by Mr. Hero, he also ensured that I understood the different AC models and series. He provided the quality time to educate me as a customer that help me make a better choice on the type of AC model and series that my home needs. Mr. Hero personalized the service by helping me understanding the type of AC that my home needs, he customized the proposal, gave me options, and made educated suggestions. My family felt comfortable around the technicians they were well behave, uniformed, and they identify themselves at the beginning. I’m also happy that Champion AC is a veteran own and operated company, they give service members a warming caring feeling to fellow comrades. “I know that, because I’m one”. I’m will definitely recommend this company to other people. I feel confident that they will give an honest opinion regarding any problems or services that any one might need. Their low prices do not even measure the quality of service they are providing. I was able to compare Champion AC with Beyer Boys, A&E air conditioning, and a private owner. Champion AC had the best customer service, adequate information, and quality and knowledgeable technicians. I really hope nobody thinks I was paid to do this or I gain any type of reward. I know other people like me will read people’s review to prevent bad companies from ripping people off. more

Great service 4/23/2014

I had our air conditioner serviced the same day I called. Gerald was effective in fixing my problem quickly and was honest in his recommendations for the future of my unit. I will be having my air conditioner replaced and am happy to have a company and technician who truly value their customers. I highly recommend Champion AC for all your AC needs! more

Integrity, Integrity, Integrity 4/13/2014

It has been said that the success of a business is location, location, location. While there is some truth to that, I believe that businesses with the scarce quality of integrity rise to the top. When it comes to the team at Champion AC, integrity seems to be the driving force behind each and every person. Two years ago, a new ac unit was incorrectly installed in our home by another company, as one might expect, it failed. I called Champion AC and Priscilla, a dispatcher, told me a technician would contact me shortly. In less than 60 seconds, that is exactly what happened. Gerald was very courteous, and respectful, as well as knowledgeable. Right away, I had confidence in his ability. He did everything he said he would do and returned his messages in a reasonable amount of time. After he evaluated our unit, Julie quickly scheduled two technicians, Jesse and Justin, to come out and work on the unit. Jesse and Justin were happy to explain everything to me as I watched them test the unit. They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, as well as respectful. We ended up having to replace the only 2 year old unit, and Champion AC coordinated everything with the representative of the manufacturer even though they were not the company responsible for the original install. We requested that Jesse and Justin be the ones to do the install. Our request was honored. Jesse and Justin were attentive to every detail and were very mindful of our air quality, careful to control dust and properly seal air ducts. Upon start up, no dust came out of the air vents, a concern as we have asthma issues. After the unit ran for a while, they inspected the unit again. They were about to leave and Jesse felt he should check the attic unit one more time. The brand new coil had sprung a leak. Tony, the owner, came out to deliver another coil in about an hour. Though it was not Champion's responsibility for the defective coil, Tony apologized for the manufacturer defect and the inconvenience it had caused. We now have a unit that is installed properly and finally we are happy with the quality of our air conditioning and its installation. From the dispatchers, Julie and Priscilla, to Sarah who explain the warranty of our new unit, to the technicians, Gerald, Jesse, and Justin, and Matthew, to the owner, Tony, each one did a superb job in assuring our ac job ran smoothly, safely, neatly and were pleasant in the process. We highly recommend Champion AC to anyone who wants the best in ac service. more

Amazing Service! 4/4/2014

Extremely happy with the service we received from Champion AC! Gerald came to assess the problem with our unit and worked with us to find an economic solution to our problem. When that didn't work he helped us with arranging to have the unit replaced. Javi and Brad came to install the new unit and were great! They helped us bring our very old home up to code, and were very neat and polite. Very happy with our new system! more
