good times 12/8/2005

Champagnes is an extremely comfortable bar to be in. The walls are made out a velet fabric. They have great drink specials on mondays. The bartenders always remember you and what you like to drink (see joe, he is the best). The parking lot is small so bring all your friends and carpool. more

    Something about Champagne's Cafe just screams "Red Light District." Could it be the red velvet rococo wallpaper? The dozen or so posters of Marilyn Monroe? That swarthy character in the pinstripes leaning on the well-stocked jukebox? Or is it just those red lightbulbs? In any case, this relaxed, cozy and dark watering hole across from the Boulevard Mall is an off-beat tonic for those who've suffered the boring sameness of most of the bars, sports and otherwise, that dot the Las Vegas landscape.
