Great Resort 10/19/2011

Lovely lake! My family & I came here for a family weekend and I really enjoyed my self. We had a lot of fun and the nature sounds were relaxing and the resort was super clean. I would definitely be back. more

Rustic scenery 10/3/2011

This is a very quiet park with very little highway noise. Scenery had a rustic feel to it with lots of trees. There were very few full time campers, a few tent campers in designated areas. Good hook-ups including TV and most had cement parking. Our view of the middle lake was wonderful in our view of the lake and the sunset. There was a small pool that was clean with several lounge chairs. No changing room. Had a store and the hours were only 11-3 Fri-Sun. more

Gorgeous 9/29/2011

Gorgeous park to get away from it all. There are three lakes and stocked full of fish. We caught a 10 pound catfish and while in office saw pictures of very large fish that have been caught at park We were also surprised to find the prices where lower than what we expected and the staff could not have been any friendlier and helpful. We plan to have our RV group go there next summer. more

Enjoyed my stay 7/18/2011

I stayed here for 6 and a half weeks and everything was great! The restrooms and showers were very clean. It's a quiet park and I really enjoyed it. more

The stay here was wonderful. An old friend recommended this place to me a few years ago and I recently ran across a great review about Champagne Lakes that reminded me I needed to come visit. I'm glad I did! It was a peaceful visit and exactly what I needed. more

Had a blast 6/21/2011

I came here last summer with my husband and grandchildren and we all had a blast! It was a week to remember and I want to come back as soon as possible. Champagne Lakes RV Resort is so beautiful and peaceful. My grandchildren were able to play safely while my husband and I could relax and take the kids fishing. Everyone loves Champagne Lakes!!! more

Nice campsite 6/21/2011

We decided to change our vacation plans and go camping in San Diego. Trying to find a campground with less than a week notice (actually more like months) is hard to do. We searched online and found Champagne Lakes RV Resort. We liked their website and that it said rustic so we decided to try them out. In the end, we ended up on their ""hill"". The site was twice as wide and twice as deep and was exactly what we were looking for. They do have a pool which was beautiful and clean and hardly anyone in it. They are located on a lake that you can fish at. They also have a ""playground"" for the kids. It entertained my 2 1/2 year old just fine. Overall, it was a really nice campsite. more

Beautiful 6/16/2011

This was a great get away! There were multiple lakes that we went fishing and a pool that we could take a dip in the afternoon sun. It was a beautiful place and I felt at peace. Will be back again! more

I had a really pleasant time camping. The weather was perfect and we had tons to do. Its great to know that there is a perfect camping spot in Escondido. The staff was nice and friendly. I cant wait till I can plan another trip. more

Great location right off freeway but quite. Service and staff are wonderful and very flexible. The ""permanent"" tenants weren't all the quietest. There are a few lakes there that are more like ponds, but there are plenty of trees and shade. Great times for all. more

A Hit for Any Camper 5/12/2011

We had the absolute best time at Champagne Lakes. We came with a couple families from my daughters school and I think every person had an awesome time at Champagne Lakes RV Resort. It's such a clean friendly and family oriented place with a lot of play area for children. The swimming pool was definitely a hit with everyone. I would recommend this place to any camper. more
