A Wonderful Place for Mom 11/26/2010

Chambrel has been a very positive move for our mom. They have provided her with everything that was discussed in our initial meeting and more. \r \r Mom is very happy and safe at Chambrel and I love the fact that everyone is so friendly! There is little to no turn-around in the staff...and that says a lot right there. There is consistency in the planned activities as well as many alternative activities and side trips to participate in, as well.\r \r Mom has lived there since the early part of the summer and we are so glad that we made the move. There have been minimal reasons to call for maintenance, but when we called them the situation was very quickly rectified. \r \r The apartments and buildings are very clean and newly updated. The grounds are always kept looking bright and inviting. The dining room always has delicious food and offers a wide variety to the residents. \r \r Family is welcomed to visit and participate in the many activities they have and we are truly excited and happy that more

Chambrel At Club Hill is AWFUL 8/1/2009

My grandparents have not even moved in yet and already there are huge problems. And, the problems started just two days after signing the lease. Imagine that! The leasing agent Amanda who was so gracious when leasing the apartment to my grandparents has turned into the most unprofessional, uncaring individual person I have ever met in my entire life. She has given our family nothing but the run-around since signing the lease. My grandparent asked if they could put a fence around their patio on the date they came to see Chambrel. They were told there would be "no problem". We asked if there were any specifications for the fence and were told that as long as it matched the other fences it would be fine. It has taken the installation person 4 times to finally get a straight answer. Amanda told us that just call her and she would make sure everything was OK. Chambrel At Club Hill is not worth it! 7/20/2009

This place is awful!! My mother lived here and the conditions are terrible! We couldn't wait to get her out. Water pipes bursting all the time, the elevator never works, the a/c goes out on a regular basis, there is a constant pool of running water in the parking lot which attracts a swarm of bees that you have to dodge to get back to the apartment building, the dining room often serves meat that's too hard to chew, or chicken eggrolls with no chicken, beef stew minus the beef, etc! They serve entrees that are extremely salty then tell the family members that they don't cook with salt (not good for residents with high blood pressure). Trust me, if you love your parents, do not put either one of them into this facility! more
