Chamblin Bookmine

Though she had difficulty trying to explain where it was, one of my Flagler Professors had suggested everyone go to Chamblin Book Mine and thanks to my boyfriend's thrifty mother who lives in Orange Park, I was the only one in class who had already been. It is everything everyone says it is. I bought an armful of books, many of which I'd always sort of wanted to read but thought were too expensive, and with the reasonable prices, I know I won't feel guilty letting them sit on my shelf until I finally have time to read them. We also found amazing DVDs there, such as the Criterion Collection of the Royal Tennenbaums for about eight bucks, a rare find for that price, and in great condition. I only wish I lived in Jacksonville and not St. Augustine as our book stores here cannot compare. more

I honestly need a little help getting around in here unless I go to the beat writers section. It is worth it though they have everything at great prices and I would rather support them then Books a million or Barnes and noble more

Chamblin's is a HUGE building full of great reading. I've spent hours at a time just browsing all that tey have to offer. The books are very neatly organized, and the prices extremely fair. If you can't find what you're looking for, they will even special order it for you. Definately worth a trip to the Westside to check out. more

This book store is awesome. I love going here. They have so many books to choose from. The staff is friendly and helpful. When you need that hard to find book I would call here first. They have all kinds of old and new books. If you have some books lying around and don't know what to do with them you can bring them in here to get store credit. I have done this with my older sons books and let him get some new books (well new to him) He was very happy. more

This is a place I could spend a week in. It's so much fun to browse on a rainy afternoon. I have found many small treasures in this store. And be sure to rent a book on tape for your next long trip. It's cheap and enjoyable! more

I always check Chamblin BookMine for books my son needs for school. They have two massive wings stacked to the ceiling of used and new books. The desk librarians are extremely helpful in finding the books you need. Chamblin's also will take in your used books and allow you to trade against the books in their store. They also have a large collection of rare magazines, books and DVDs for sale. more
