Amazing Veterinarians! 7/9/2012

I am so thankful to Dr. Susan Wooten at the Animal Hospital of North Asheville! Their office visit is a bit higher than some of the others but the few dollars is well worth it for the care, compassion, and concern they have for your fur babies! Dr. Wooten spent so much time with my dog, went through a thorough history so she could completely understand my dog's medical history, and only ran the tests she felt were completely necessary for the proper diagnosis. \r \r I had mistakenly previously gone to The Pet Vet on Patton and the antiobiotic they prescribed made my dog vomit and he was not getting better. The Pet Vet on Patton told me I would have to come in and pfy for another office visit just to change antiobiotics! I was told they may have missed something in the first exam! I do not want to trust a vet that may have missed something in the first exam or who would not want to try another antiobiotic on my dog if he is vomiting, without trying to profit on this!\r \r Dr, Susan Woote more

Special care for special pets 4/28/2011

My pets are special so I expect special care - and I get it at Animal Hospital of North Asheville. They are meticulous and thoughtful. I've been impressed both by the technology available - they have a laser machine that has virtually ridded my older dog of arthritis problems - and their compassion - my younger dog has anxiety problems and they are always gentle with her. I would recommend this vet to anyone. more

Best Vet in Asheville 4/27/2011

I am always impressed with the care and attention given to my pets - I have cats and a dog - at this vet office. The staff is very caring. My doctor always calls me after a visit to let me know how the bloodwork came out - and if I don't understand it, they take the time to explain everything to me.\r \r Something else I really appreciate is that there is such a short wait time. I have never had to wait long and when I am waiting there is always a staff member there to give my pets treats. \r \r In my opinion, they are the best vet in Asheville. more

Great experience 2/22/2011

I took my chihuahua, Biff, here not knowing what to expect because I am new to town. I was completely impressed! Biff has never had such a thorough exam before and instead of shaking like he normally does at the vet, he was calm. I think this is because of all the doggie treats and love he was getting from the staff. Glad I found this vet. more

I've taken my pets here for 20 years. I'm always happy with the care my pets get and am always amazed at how the doctors here are on the cutting edge of technology. I feel at home at AHNA & so do my pets. Can't recommend this hospital highly enough. more

Phenomenal Care for Cats 1/21/2011

Taking my cats to the vet has always been a stressful experience - cats just don't like leaving home, but going to Animal Hospital of North Asheville with my cats is an entirely different experience. They go the extra mile to ensure that my cats are calm. One of my cats walked out of her carrier and laid down on the exam table - that has never happened! The doctors really seem to care about my cats' experience. I will never go anywhere else. more

Great care for my Great Dane 9/9/2010

I have a very large dog - a Great Dane - and as she gets older she requires a lot of care. I am so happy to have found this veterinarian, they think of everything. more

Best vet experience I've ever had! 5/19/2010

I took my two large dogs to Animal Hospital of North Asheville for the first time and it was such a wonderful experience that I had to share. They cleared up ongoing problems with one of my dog's ears and skin. Dr. Earley and his assistant spent a lot of time with me explaining everything and making me and my dogs feel at ease. The following may seem like a silly thing to note, but it made a world of difference in the overall vet visit - Dr. Earley didn't lift my big dogs up onto a table - they hate that! Instead, he got down on the floor with them and examined them there. They were much more comfortable on the floor and this made the whole visit much easier for them (and me!) Pros: Wonderful, caring people and great technology more
