This Place ROCKED My World!!! 3/19/2011

I don't understand the negative review, but they were from a while ago. This place has turned me into an Indian food junkie!!! Before coming here, I had NEVER tried Indian food. I had always heard that Indian food was too spicy and could tear ur stomach up. But I got curious and decided to give it a try. I did a little research online to find a place that was near work and seem pretty good based on reviews. For my first taste of Indian food, I didn't want to try anything too exotic. So, I ordered the chicken curry w/ rice. When I took my first bite, IT BLEW MY MIND!!!! I had never expected it to be sooooo tasty. I had thought I was gonna get a mouth full of heat, but I got the opposite instead. It was sooooo savory and flavorful!!! It was pretty much love @ first bite. This was about 2 week ago, and I have tried other dishes since then. My current favorite is the Saag Chicken, which is a spinach curry sauce. This place is reasonably priced base on the amount of food you get. Whenever I order the curry, I always have leftovers for dinner or lunch the next day. So $7.99 for two meals in one ain't bad!!!! I've recommended this place to a few other people @ work, and they've had good experiences with it as well. more

Too pricy, spicey and flavourless. 6/10/2007

I went there for lunch last week. Order the famous chicken ticka masala it was pastey too spicy yet flavourless and the chicken was COLD. and it was $11, very unreasonable for a place where you have to serve yourself. Its not worth the money for sure. Pros: close to my house. Cons: expensive, tasteless and the ambience is terrible more

Full of themselves 5/27/2007

The food is alright but the attitude could use some help. They have coupons in the Desi Pages magazine and also on desipages on the net but they refused to honor the coupons if they were printed from the internet ! Ridiculous ! The management needs a makeover. Cons: attitude more
