Cha-Da Thai

Boy has this place gone downhill. The Pad woon sen had only 1 shrimp(hard to split) and no lime juice. Basically it was lettuce with a little tomato. The Red Curry sauce was colored water with little coconut milk. The waitress agreed this wasn't good Thai food. The manager ""had gone home one hour early"". In short this place is no longer good and they don't care! more

I love this little restaurant. Went on a girl's night and we each ordered something different and taste tested each dish. We all agreed each dish was excellent. It is never over-crowded, have always been able to be seated right away. My favorite dish is #62. Pros: good food Cons: a little difficult to get in and out of parking lot more

I really like this place. Usually can get a seat without a problem and fast carry out. Downtown Thai is good but very price for what you get this is much cheaper (though more basic menu- less shell fish more veg, chicken, beef.) Pros: Great food and fast more

I love this restaurant. For a long time, I could not get my wife to eat Thai food, but I harassed her into trying Cha-Da one night and she was sold. It quickly became one of her favorites. I love the Gai Pad Gra Pow, Thai hot. The Tom Yum is soup is delicious. The spring rolls are not quite as good as those from Downtown Thai, but they are very tasty as well. The heat here is a little lower than that of Downtown Thai, but if you get the spice tray, you can jack it up as hot as you want it. This is my favorite Thai restaurant in America! When our daughter took a job at an international school in Thailand, we paid a visit and toured the entire country. So, I speak with some authority when I say that this restaurant is The Real Deal. Unlike most stateside Thai restaurants, this one has lovely, bright decor. The hostesses dress like Thai Air flight attendants and are unobtrusive. The food is seasoned to perfection. The ingredients are fresh, not ""stewed"", and exactly as spicy as we request. We have tried a variety of dishes from the very broad menu choices. We especially like the Red Curry with Tofu, and the Green Pear Salad. In Thailand, the beauty of the dish is almost as important as its nutrition, and they go to great lengths to make it artistic - by carving vegetables to look like animals or flowers, and by arranging the food beautifully. This is the one and only Thai restaurant we have found in America where the food is beautiful, say, with carrots carved to look like lotus flowers. This is our favorite restaurant. Great Pricing. Wonderful, delicious food full of aroma, balanced spices. There is a dish for everyone, and we have almost tried the entire menu. Lunch specials are inexpensive and out of this world. You will NOT leave hungry. Check it out. Thursday special is Kang Panang with white rice and spring roll for $5.95. Mild to thai hot. Yummy.
