I drove over 200 miles to see David after reading his reviews, and I was blown away with him when I met him. He is so honest and direct just like everyone says. David paid me way more than anyone in my local area offered me for my jewelry and it was well worth the long trip to see him. This man is very ethical! I went in to see David about selling my mother?s old diamond ring, because I have heard so many good things about him. I showed him an old appraisal and told him that I had been offered $2500 by my local jewelry store and that I felt it was worth closer to $5,000. David then proceeded to show me the diamond under a microscope and he got out all these books all the while explaining in detail and helping me understand the real value. In the end he offered me over $17,000 for the ring and I of course sold it to him. David could have just as easily offered me a little over $5,000 and I would have taken it, but instead he took the time to help me understand why it was worth so much more. I took my diamond ring to David to sell it to him, but David found a large chip under the prong and he instructed me on how to file a claim as it was covered under my insurance policy for my diamond ring. David could have just as easily bought my diamond and not said a word about the chip, but instead he chose to be honest and tell me the truth even though I would have never known about the chip. I was ready to sell my ring that day, and David was willing to pay me a good amount but the amount I can get from the insurance company is more and he knew that and explained it to me.
