We paid a down payment to CRT to install countertops and 48 sq ft of back splash in our kitchen. We supplied the tile for the back splash and were charged $600 for labor to install the backsplash. We wound up paying an additional $200 for replacement of the drywall.
The installation of the tile back splash was not professionally installed or finished (see pictures they tell is all). Despite returning several times they only worked on portions and never completed the job. Attempts to tell, show or explain were met with rudeness and a distinct lack of caring.
Because of language and personality issues, CRT insisted I be present at another attempt to get the job right. As a field engineer I am in the field and then home for a week. I contacted Chris, the owner and told him I was available all week for them to come and finish the work. They (CRT) never showed up. Again, July 2nd I was at home still CRT unavailable to come to my home.
I was then told they would come out without me being home if we marked the defects clearly with sticky notes. They set up an appointment and never showed up. I again called and was told that it was necessary that I be at home before they would come out and finish the job. In addition, I was then told that they would attempt to come out one more time and then charge me additional money to fix the problem because they spent so much time already. I pointed out that they could have finished the job during anyone of their visits instead of doing apiece here and apiece there and never completing the job.
CRT insisted in full payment, which they got. They never completed the job, did not act professionally (my wife was crying she was so upset after a meeting with Chris where he walked out before she could show him all the problems). Despite my repeated attempts to get Chris or Kelly to simply come out and see the issues, no one has stopped by for a lousy 20 minutes to see what I am talking about.
To date, the job, which we paid $800 and it was never finished
