I am a non-practicing SCUBA instructor and have visited all the dive shops in our area. The Dallas Weston dive shop by far has the most relaxed and friendly crew in the area. They have years of diving experience and have even worked with DAN. Whenever I visit the shop, I enjoy the easy going, personal atmosphere and feel like I'm among friends rather than business shop owners. The prices are competitive and the selection good. They are adding new space which will make everything even better. You can even get barbecue and grilling advice from these award winning champions. This shop is well worth the effort if you are looking for the personal touch. Pros: Easy going, friendly owners. Every customer gets the personal touch. I have to say that the staff at Dallas Weston Dive Shop are just amazing. From the first day that I came into the shop I have received nothing but the best advice and service. I have learned a lot from taking classes provide by Dallas Weston Dive Shop and would not hesitate to recommend that all new students take their classes. I have also shopped at other area dive shops and I found the pricing to be right in line with the other shops. I will have to dispute one comment made in a review below. I have had the opportunity to dive with several of the staff from this shop in several settings including zero visibility in the river and I could not have felt safer with them as my dive buddies.
