I have never been this disappointed in an interaction with a service company. I took a Keg cooler to Central Repair 'Service" November 24th, 2008 . As of February 27th, 2009 I still do not have it back and there is not end in sight. That more than 3 months for those keeping score. Initially, I was told that the device needed a control board, but the control board was on back order and would be 6 to 8 weeks. After 9 weeks I called back and found that the part was not ordered until the 2nd week of December and told they would let me know when it came in. I waited a month and called back. They said that Danby had sent the wrong part. They again said they would call and let me know whent he part came in. I called back several times over the next couple weeks but to no avail. Then the second week of February Central Repair called and said the part was in and they wanted to scheule a time for the service tech to come to my home to install the part. I reminded them for the 3rd time the cooler was in their shop. They told me that they would let me know when the part was installed. A week went by and I received another call from Central Repair saying the part had arrived. I informed them that was the story they told me last week. They then said the tech would install by this Wednesday and they would call back by today Friday. Predictably, no call. I called them and you'll never guess!!! Danby sent the wrong part for the 2nd time, incredible, I know. At this point, Central Repair's recommendation was that I call Danby and complain. Oh and they are going to reorder the part. YEAH RIGHT! Use this company at your own risk.
