Awesome school! My son has recieved the best attention there. His ADHD issues have never been a problem. I do not have to "talk" him into going to school at all anymore. He actually begs to go to school even when he is sick :) we have been there two years now and just attended the cutest kindergarten graduation I've ever seen, and I have two older children. First grade here we come! Wish I would have moved here sooner so my older ones could have started at CFP. But... We've now enrolled ALL of them for next year. Soo excited! No more mulitiple drop offs. Pros: null Cons: null more

Wonderful School 4/27/2012

We love Central Florida Prep! We enrolled our sons this year in the Montessori program and we have seen tremendous growth in both of them both academically and socially. The teachers are all very caring and attentive. We researched schools in this area for a long time before making our decision to enroll. The Director is amazing. Her door is always open and she makes you feel welcome. I'm amazed at the control that the teachers keep over their classrooms. God bless them! You can stop by the school anytime and see the kids and teachers in action. My boys went from crying every day when I dropped them off at their previous school, to being excited to go to school every day. They have so much fun; they don?t even realize they are learning! The program allows for the children to learn at their own pace. The lessons are changed out monthly and the topics keep the children interested and focused. My son is only 4 and he is writing already, mostly because of the techniques they use. I would highly recommend CFP to anyone looking for a learning-centered, safe and caring environment for their child. Pros: null Cons: null more

Excellent Montessori Program 4/11/2012

We chose Central Florida Prep 2 years ago for our daughter. This is a very well organized and loving environment for children and we are very happy with our decision to have her enrolled here. It's on a church campus and has a private playground as well as full auditorium for events. The curriculum is outstanding and we have seen the progress our daughter has made which is far exceeding other children her age. We highly recommend CFP to other parents! Pros: null Cons: null more

WORSE SCHOOL OUT THERE... ONLY CARES ABOUT $$$ 6/16/2011

This is the worse school my child has ever attended. Before I enrolled him for the school year I had him attend the summer camp. I informed the director (the latina with blonde hair that wears 6 inch heels to school and flaunts her cleavage everywhere) that my child had adhd and needs more attention than a typical child. She advised me not to worry and that they will be able to handle that. She also claimed that they are a montessori school and that an older child will be paired with my child. NOT TRUE AT ALL. They are not a montessori school and do not follow the montessori concepts. My child was only paired with the older child to go to the restroom. There were about 35 children in one room and were often yelled at by a teacher who has really bad oral hygiene. The director informed me that there would only be 20 children per 2 teachers during the summer camp. LIED AGAIN. The teachers were rude to the parents. I noticed that one mom asked the teacher did my son eat much today and the teacher stated why dont you open his lunch box and look for yourself. VERY RUDE! I also found out that the teachers do not have degrees and can barely speak English. I felt like I was in a third world country. After calling Montessori schools I was informed that this school is best at lieing to the parents about following the montessori concepts and will say anything to the parents in order to make money. After one week of summer camp my son will no longer go there. It was the worse experience I have ever encountered. So my best advise is to stay far far away from this school. They will lie and continue to say lies to make you happy and the children are treated awful here. more
