I saw Dr. Goldstien when she was fresh out of medical school when she practiced in Cary. Then followed her to Chapel Hill and then to 54. My last two appointments required me waiting in the waitng room for over an hour . I have had stage three breast cancer and never waited that long a Duke. Somewhere along the line she put her importance and time in front of her patients importance and time. Schedule fewer visits a day then you won't make people who have their own busy lives put on hold for over an hour each visit. Perhaps a good doctor but not a respectful doctor. Found a doctor in Chape Hill who is, to be sure, Goldstien's equal and my waits are about 15 minutes. It is all about mutal respect. Pros: null Cons: null more

Dr. Beth Goldstein 8/13/2011

I have been a patient of Dr. Goldstein for several years. The first visit was for the removal of several basal cell carcinomas and the biopsy of several other spots. I have continued to return every six months for check ups. She is very thorough and I have been very satisfied with her medical care. Last week I was in the office for my regular visit. From the time I got out of the car, went into the office and checkedin, was called to the back, undressed, was examined by Dr Goldstein who also "froze" a couple of spots in my forehead, got dressed and paid my bill and got back in the car was about 30 minutes. Can't get any better than that. more

Central Dermatology Center......A Different View 2/17/2009

I'm not sure what happened on the one guest who posted a poor review of this practice, perhaps her expectations were unrealistic or something didn't go her way. But after reading these ratings, I feel it is my duty as a LONG time patient to speak out against these come & go patients who (if they are in fact encountering a problem while in the office it will be addressed and taken care of by someone who will try to address the issue.....I have been in this situation MYSELF, firsthand). Pros: Ambience in Medi-Spa.......Updates need to be done in Dermatology Side (too noisy in lobby) Cons: Parking is BAD! more

Fantastic Dermatologists 1/11/2009

Central Dermatology is a wonderful office. The staff are friendly, polite, and patient-oriented. The doctors, especially Dr. Williams and her assistant Anne Casperson, are warm, responsive, and talented. I have been here dozens of times and have always received excellent medical advice and attention. They are the best in Chapel Hill. Pros: Clean, Patient Friendly, On Time, Intelligent Doctors Cons: N/A more

Worst experience ever 6/4/2008

I've never had such a bad experience with a medical facility/practitioner. The staff who greeted me were rude at the beginning and as I left. The doctor brushed off my concerns, and when I called later to complain, I was brushed off again. DO NOT GO HERE. There are alternatives. You deserve to have your medical issues addresses in a polite, respectful atmosphere, but those qualities do not exist at this place. Pros: They do provide service if no one else is available. Cons: The staff was extremely rude and condescending. more
