Central Bottle feels more like a really swank library than a wine store. The beautifully-designed shelves are a joy to browse. It's spacious, bright, and uncluttered. Everything about the place is thoughtfully assembled, including a tiny but well-curated beer selection.
I enjoy visiting during my lunch hour: they sell cheap bites of freshly-prepared snacks, which change daily: cicchetti, salt cod pastries, slices of savory tarts. One can eat a dollop of seafood or braised fennel whilst ogling wines, or local dairy products, or Central Bottle's vintage red Vespa.
Pros: Knowledgeable staff, gorgeous space, culinary focus
Cons: I have yet to purchase any wine
