Dirty and unsanitary, nothing special 2/4/2011

Came here several times because it's close and needed a new vet. I can deal w/ the older facility, even though it's so run down in the customer areas makes you wonder what the back looks like. Finally decided I did not care for Dr Berger's yank and crank style of dealing w/ animals. I heard her yelling/cussing once in the back area when they were dealing with a big dog. Sure don't want the vet cussing at my dog, so I'm going elsewhere. more

Staff and Dr. Berger 8/9/2010

If you want a friendly welcome, you won't get it here. the staff has more of an attitude of "I hate my job". Engage them in small talk? They aren't having it. Because, quite frankly, you're bothering them. more

Good but expensive 5/19/2009

We took our cat there for years and had good service but did not realize how expensive it was until we compared it to other places. They are very friendly and did take wonderful care of our cat. more

Unfortunately, I won't return 6/30/2008

I took both my dogs to Central Animal Hosp. Dr. Berger I like, but the staff, the facilities are lacking. When I had to put one of my dogs down, the support staff walked in and asked if my dog was sick and if that was the reason why I was putting her down. They already knew she had lymphoma, but they seemed oblivious. Secondly, they were more interested in how I was going to pay than about comforting my dog, or being sensitive that this decision was painful and unbearable. The place also smells badly. I won't return. more

Would Not Go Back 2/27/2008

This place is what animal hospitals should avoid.There have been rats eating the food and in the runs.Spiders, and mold. There is a smell to the waiting area, and the constant change of Doctors is a huge negative!! After working there, and seing the way they operate-I would NOT recommend them. more

Health care for our pets 10/14/2007

We've been clients of Central Animal Hospital for a number of years. They have been a resource not only for on-going health issues and check ups, but also for a number of less common issues that arose with our golden retriever puppy. All three of our animals are healthy thanks to the care they receive at CAH. My only regret is that with the number of vets who practice at the hospital and the turnover, we have never been able to establish a long-term relationship with one doctor who truly knows our animals. Still, everyone who has seen one of our pets has been caring and efficient. more

Pet Care Unmatched 4/19/2007

The staff at central was great. They are caring and made me and my pug feel like part of the Central Family!! The hospital was clean and they made me feel comfortable and kept me informed all during my dogs stay. I also loved that they had an acupuncturist and radiologist on staff! I will for sure go back my Joey loved it there! more

A very loving place for my dog. 11/29/2005

I worked in a very caring veterinary clinic in college. Central Animal Hospital has the same feel. My dog boarded there for 10 days and was very comfortable and NOT STRESSED when I picked her up. They have good ventilation, an outdoor pen (fresh air is imporant), clean kennels, and calm boarders. The staff are very friendly and kind. I high recommend them. more
